Step 2. Enable USB Debugging on your Android

After connecting, you should check USB debugging on your Android to have it detected by the program. Choose the right way for your own device.
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Tap "Settings" < "Applications" < "Development" and check "USB debugging".
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < "Developer options" and check "USB debugging".
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Go to "Settings" < "About Phone". Click "Build number" for several times until you are shown that "You are under developer mode". Go back to "Settings" < "Developer options" and check "USB debugging".

Step 3. Analyze and Scan for Deleted Android Contacts

Now, tap on "Start" button so the recovery software will begin to analyze and scan for all deleted contacts on your Android.

Note:
If you get the window as follow, tap "Allow" several times on your homescreen until it disappears. Then click "Start" again to scan for deleted data.

Step 4. Check and Restore Deleted Contacts

When you get the scanning results on the left, expand "Contacts" icon and preview the details yourself. Names, phone numbers, addresses, Email and some other information ever exited can all be seen. Check those you want to get back and click on "Recover" button. Restore them in HTML, vCard and CSV on your computer.

Note: To directly find the deleted contacts you want to recover, you can slide to only display deleted items on the top of the window.
